Flat Yarn and Specialties from POY
With our Barmag DrawWinders we draw commercial POY yarns into technical
yarns with high density and low shrinkage.
You can let us draw wind yarns
for you from dtex 20 up to dtex 1’000 from/of the following raw materials:
- Polyester
- Polyamide
- Polypropylene
- All other thermoplastic fibres (like e. g. PLA)
You can use our spectrum of experience in the following areas:
- shrinking of monofilaments
- High tenacity technical yarns with very
low shrinkage
- Adjustment of the stress strain curve on diverse applications
- Draw
winding of polyester micro filament yarn and matrix yarn (PES/Nylon
or PES/CoPES)
- Draw winding of polyester hollow fibres
- Yarn with a shrinkage up
to 65%
- Production of bicomponent yarn
- Self elongating yarn (memory effect)
from polyester up to dtex 2500
